Fourth Wall is a creative training agency that uses theatre to develop the skills of children and young people aged 5-25.
We are a social enterprise and proudly part of the Hero Foundation. We run socially-driven workshops meaning that everything we do is inspired by a social issue, which our workshops aim to raise awareness of and tackle. We have looked at everything from bullying to homelessness, intergenerational cohesion to getting young people involved in heritage.
Our workshops and performances are professional, unique and creative and aim to engage those of all abilities and interests.
Be part of something unique and truly brilliant... Fourth Wall
We have worked in schools, have ran theatre companies, and owned successful businesses.
But we have also experienced the thrill of performing, have been part of countless encapsulated audiences and have ultimately been inspired by the arts.
Those we train are embedded with our values, and their theatre companies operate as social enterprises - businesses with a clear social goal.
The performances they create are socially driven based on issues that matter to their members. In the past Fourth Wall has created performances looking at knife crime, unemployment, aspirations, love, green issues and life and death.
Regardless of whether those we work with run game-changing theatre companies, or become the next famous actor/actress, the key aim is to give them opportunities that make them happy and create memories that last for a lifetime. That is Fourth Wall.
